Ghostwriting FAQ
Writing a book can be a long but rewarding process. Having a professional storyteller on your side can help bring your vision to life on the page. Here are a few questions you may have about our ghostwriting services.
What exactly does a ghostwriter do?
A ghostwriter writes your book for you, using your ideas, stories, and voice. I guide the structure, conduct interviews, write the manuscript, and revise it with your input—while you remain the credited author.
Will the book still sound like me?
Yes—this is essential. My process involves deep interviews and voice sampling to capture your personality and tone. The result should feel like you wrote it on your best day.
How long does it take to ghostwrite a book?
Timelines vary by project, but most books take four (4) to eight (8) months from idea to polished manuscript. Faster timelines are possible with focused collaboration and clear scope.
How much does ghostwriting cost?
Full-length ghostwriting typically starts at $30,000, depending on word count, subject matter, and timeline. I also offer monthly retainers and shorter book packages. [Ghostwriting Pricing]
Will my name be on the cover?
Yes. You are the author. My name does not appear unless we agree on a co-writing credit (rare). All content is ghostwritten confidentially.
Do you sign NDAs?
Absolutely. I respect your privacy and ideas. I’m happy to sign a mutual NDA before our first call if needed.
I’m not sure where to start. Can you help shape the idea?
Yes. Many clients come to me with only a rough concept or a story they want to share. I help shape the book structure, message, and voice from the ground up.
